AUTOMATIC TRILATERAL WAREHOUSE CRANES

Cost-effective automation. Easy to implement. Error reduction. Improves safety in your warehouse. Low maintenance costs.

Automated pallet crane to replace your manned narrow-aisle forklift.

Automatic Trilateral Warehouse Cranes offer fast and economical automation for your warehouse.

Benefits:

  • The ideal solution for automating pallet racking with a maximum height of 15 meters.
  • In most cases, no adjustment to the warehouse structure is necessary.
  • Trilateral system for handling loads.

Why a trilateral lift system?

  • Customizable to any pallet racking system served by operator-driven forklifts.
  • Cost-effective automation. Quick return on investment.
  • Easy to adapt to both new and existing warehouses, as in most cases, no change to the warehouse structure is required.
  • Lower labor costs. All pallet handling can be managed without the need for an operator.
  • Efficient use of all available space, as the system has no upper guide rail and pallets can be deployed from level 0.
  • Reduction of errors, thanks to automation of all operations.
  • Increased safety of the installation. Forklift operators do not work in aisles, reducing the risk of accidents and damage to installations and loads.
  • Low maintenance costs.
  • Easy integration of the automated system with warehouse software, such as Easy WMS.

Automatic Trilateral Warehouse Cranes enable simple automation of both existing and new pallet warehouses served by operator-driven forklifts.

The pallet crane moves pallets to the ends of aisles and places them in position or on an automatic transport system. This is possible thanks to the rotating fork lift part, which allows pallets to be picked up or placed in three positions: at the front or on the sides.

The Automatic Trilateral Warehouse Crane moves along two rails and has only four support points on the ground. It has no top guide system, allowing it to be installed in any warehouse where forklifts are used. Additionally, it is adaptable to virtually all spaces for direct access to the pallets.

The system operates fully automatically, and the control system optimizes all movements of the forklift part.

What do our customers think?

"We can now speak of absolute efficiency in our processes and maximum safety for the people working in the warehouse."
Jaume Segrià, Operations Director of Disalfarm.
The example of Disalfarm shows that any warehouse currently using forklifts can be automated without changing the warehouse structure and with high efficiency.

FAQ
Question - answer
What is a trilateral warehouse truck?
A trilateral (three-way) reach truck can move in three directions at once — forward/backward, up/down, and rotating the forks sideways — without turning around in the aisle. This allows for very narrow aisles.
What is the advantage of narrower aisles?
Narrower aisles (Very Narrow Aisle, VNA) mean that with the same floor space you can fit significantly more racking and therefore more storage capacity — often 30-50% more than with conventional aisles.
Do these systems operate manually or automatically?
Both are possible: trilateral trucks can be manually driven or, combined with rail guidance and control software, operate semi- or fully automatically.
What warehouse height is this suitable for?
Trilateral systems are often used in high-bay warehouses (up to 12-15 metres and more), where the combination of height and narrow aisles maximises storage capacity.
Is a special floor required?
Yes, for optimal precision and safety in narrow aisles, floor rail guidance or floor flatness according to VDMA standards is usually recommended. We advise on this during the site survey.
